Special bearings have different functional characteristics in comparison to standard normalized versions and are usually intended for specific arrangements.
They differ from standard bearings by an inner construction, a dimension, a shape of mounting areas, precision of a version, quality of material and its heat processing.
Bearings which do not have main dimensions according to standard ISO 15 are designated as PLC bearings. Bearings for specific arrangements have additional bearing designation TPF or TPFK.
It is needed to discuss the utilization of PLC, TPF and TPFK bearings for new arrangement with bearing manufacturer.
